For the last six weeks I have been working in Germany, touring English speaking theatre to schools. The job came about pretty suddenly and could not have come at a better time (apart from the fact that it takes me away from my Fragments family...). I auditioned for White Horse Theatre on February 9th on the understanding that it was for a contract starting this August. I left the audition having really enjoyed the day. I felt very…

Well....we did it again, Fragments works fast and efficiently. The continual weekly sessions have proven to be a success in re discovering The Bay (This is now very delayed as I have gone straight into other work, unfortunately away from Fragments, but not a day goes by where don’t think about the company)
The Bay this run, back in January was intense and dynamic, it was bold and brave and we sweated and screamed and sweated some more…as a performer doing the show makes you realize…

This time last week i was bouncing off the walls ready to rejoin the Fragments crew, having been away a month, and to my joy it was a session with Brian Astbury, someone i'd never had the chance to work with at drama school and who Fragments members talked about greatly with huge respect, so i was very much looking forward to the night, which as it turned out was more amazing than i could have imagined.

Just over two years ago I wrote my first fragments blog. It wasn’t profound or ground-breaking, just a simple effective list of loves and hates. I think it’s interesting to look back and see where we have come from. I am reassessing my position on things.
STILL LOVE Shane for inviting me to a part of this amazing venture (it is still amazing)! Thank you!
LOVE & HATE that it sometimes feels like therapy (even a voice…

I have had a very busy week - working 3 x 14 hour days and the other 3 have been 8 hours atleast, and lots of general rushing around - so to say that I was already knackered before even getting to Fragments is an understatement! I rushed there from work, navigating the horrendously busy peak time central line, grabbed some food and hot footed it down to The Rag Factory. In all honesty, I really wasn't looking forward to the session because I felt as though I had very little energy to give.…
